Most buyers have very specific expectations of their real estate professional. First time buyers, along with repeat buyers, ranked help with finding the right home as the most important expectation of their agent. There also was not much difference between first-time and repeat buyers regarding their desire for help with price negotiations and help with paperwork. Repeat buyers were more likely to want assistance in determining what comparable homes sell for, while first-time buyers want their agent to help them determine how much they can afford to spend on a home.
